MC Slammer's opinion on all the mod polls.

NOW, there has recently been a rage of everyone trying to be a mod, and making the polls. Now I'm not saying that all of them are bad, but, ANYONE can type why they'd be a good mod. ANYONE even if they aren't great for the job at all. There are SEVERAL people that are becoming mods or getting a lot of, "YES" votes that SHOULD NOT BE A MOD AT ALL. Now, they may not be bad people, but they are just unfit for the job.

And, AA doesn't need a crapload of mods. It needs BETTER mods. 15 more mods that don't do anything and just abuse their power doesn't help the site at all. We do not need mods multiplying like rabbits when all they do is nothing.

I am sure I might get flamed for my opinion like always, but this is how I feel. Thank you for reading this.

As usual someone can't just read the, "MC Slammer's opinion" part and had to find some way to screw it up. -_-;

I agree with you MC. Lately, people have been pouring out applications that are mediocre AT BEST. Then, their AA buddies back them up only because they are friends and not for the content of their application. :roll: Also, some people are making crappy applications just to be funny which I find annoying.

Yah. Take Seras for example. I really don't think she should be a mod, but she has her groupies vote yes.

Getting a lot of "YES" votes is completely different from actually becoming mods. Being popular doesn't mean I'm going to make you a moderator.

Two that I have under consideration are Sasszain and zeros-content56... anyone have a good reason why either of these two should not be mods?

I have no opposition to these two becoming moderators. I was impressed, in particular, by Sasszain's application.

No I don't. But, can we TRUST that they WILL BE good mods?

But the POINT IS anyone can make a great application, and fake it. And AA doesn't need anymore mods. AA needs BETTER MODERATORS. I'd rather have 10 mods on AA do everything right and try their best, than 26 moderators that don't give a crap and sit there abusing their power.

So which mods sit there and abuse their power?

I could name a couple. But I'm not going to.

the thing IS THERE ARE PEOPLE TRYING TO BECOME MODS THAT WILL JUST SIT AND ABUSE THEIR POWER. We need better mods not more of them.

If you can't name any, then how are we supposed to know? Did any mods make you angry?
