okay death gods can only be hurt by soul slayers and hollows correct?

well remember when ganju threw that fiework and as it exploded it cut that one death god's face....why did that happen?

They said only soul slayers and hollows can kill a death god. other things can hurt them but not kill them.

yes I know the dubbed version said hurt but they get a lot of translations wrong

in the sub Ganju says "its a bomb" but he actually says "its a firework"

well either way it hurt that shinigami and if it can make you bled it can kill you

the easiest way to explain it would probably be that Ganju is a spirit, so there fore probably infused the fireworks with the same kind of energy that the shinigami use. After all he has shown the ability to use the kido arts to some degree.

Another point to bring up is that the firework exploded on his head, now think about it, if a firework exploded on a humans head they would die, he just ended up with a bad hair day.

So that being said, shinigami can only be killed by hollows, soul slayers, and kidou. Also you keep bringing up that if it can make you bleed it can kill you, but from that point of view a paper cut will kill you, and the odds of that happening are slim to none.

Also Shinigami powers run in a family thats how Ichigo got his, now if you pay attention Ganju's brother Kaien Shiba was a shinigami therefore ganju and Kukkaku have the possibility of becoming shinigami.
