Absolute Anime

Does anybody here like fantasy novels like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings,.. I like them very much. So far I've read Hid Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman, Whind Whistle triology (I can't rememeber the author^-^), Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer.. and right now I'm about to read Eragon

Eragon, Artemis Fowl, and His Dark Materials all pwn. I live on fantasy novels. Hmmm...check out Piers Anthony's early work with Xanth, and his other series...*runs off to check* Incarnations of Immortality. Or...Garth Nix's Abhorsen Trilogy + Across the Wall (short story collection). Peter and the Starcatchers and Peter and the Shadow-theives. Eldest, for after Eragon. Anne McCaffery is good...OH! Lois Lowery's trio: The Giver, Gathering Blue, and The Messanger. I swear, this is the last one....A Great and Terrible Beauty, and Rebel Angels.

R.A. Salvatore's Demon War saga owns all.... It also helps that he created the char of Drizzt and has also written Star Wars novels....

I've read the Philip Pullman books about Sally Lockhart, I can't remember the series name.... I quite like the Harry Potter series too

The best fantasy author on this planet is George R. R. Martin!!! I have never been so enthralled! Although I went to his website and he he looks like a weird sailor dude
I do like R.A. Salvatore's drizzet saga as well, but that's probably just from playing Baldur's Gate.

Myst is a trio? of interesting books.

His Dark Materials pwns everything ever written (in my opinion, of course). I love those books so much!

Of COURSE; everything in them is totally original; there's nothing like it in any other story I've read. Not like Eragon, which seems like it's just a compilation of fantasy novels like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc.

Yes I think His Dark Materials OWNS IT too. They're just sooo very original like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Not like Eragon who's just a plain copy cat. Though I'll prolly still read it because I'm a huge fan of fantasy.
