Lee is better. He can open gates and he's a hard worker. You've got to admire that.

i'm somewhat lazy but i kinda have to work hard to stay on the honour roll...

imo if Shikamaru and get a hold of his shadow on Rock lee it's all over...but then you have to count the landscape, time of day and weather contidions...

I have to say that it is lee.

Personally, I can't decide. I have watched only 40 ep or so by now.. so I don't really really know them yet.. But I don't know they're just awesome! Lee-san is so nice in a goofy kind of way and Shika.. well I just luv it when he goes: ˝How troublesome.˝

I do not know, because Shikamaru and Rock Lee I both like, but Shikamaru is really smart and Rock lee is very fast and powerful.

I’d say Rock lee, because if Rock lee did a front on attack on Shikamaru, he'd have little time to react, but then because of Shikamaru's shadow position he might stand a chance unless Rock lee jumped up in the air and attacked or did that hidden lotus tai- jitsu (think that’s how you spell it on him. or maybe Shikamaru would give up and say it was too much work for him. it could so either way. because rock lee could slip up and Shikamaru would have him. but because of Rock lee's desire not to give up and to keep getting up, I don't think Shikamaru would have the power to take him down.

My vote goes to Shikamaru, he is a brilliant tactician and leader

If the question was stronger, then hands down Lee would kick Shikamaru's a**, there really isn't a fair comparison for strength. Lets face it Lee is probably the strongest of the leaf genin (he only lost once). Shikamaru wouldn't be able to use his shadow on Lee because he isn't fast enough to keep pace with Lee.

Oh, sorry, I thought, meaning who is better would mean the same thing as who is stronger, like as who is more superior.

Any way, I’d say Shikamaru. Because he is a good leader.

Shikamaru is a good leader, and he can come up with really good tactics- which I think is a base for strength. You could over throw someone stronger than you by using your head ~

Assuming there is time to think which would be awfully difficult when you can't even see their movements and they are pounding you viciously with taijutsu attacks.
