Absolute Anime

As you might know, cricket world cup has started.So, who do you think will take away the cup? Defending champ Aussies or the 2004 finalist India ? or maybe some1 else.I wana know who do YOU think it will be and why ?

I think it will be India.Why? cause I am an Indian. JOkes apart, India really got a well balanced side,not to metion key players like Tendulkar and Dhoni.And did you forget last time we were just a step away from the cup ?I think this time we will get our hands on the cup for sure.

pleased to know ur an indian, i am too... but i didn't think that india would win, well after their shock loss to bangaldesh, so i opted for the then current world champions, which were south africa, who were beaten in the semi's i think it was. so then i decided i'd go for sri lanka, who kinda put up a fight, but failed.... so who did i go for? well easy, everyone except australia...

Wow...I have found 2 Indians here..cool !!! I too am from India..New Delhi to be specific..really upset with India's performnace in the world cup..

Although I have to agree that India is not good in any other sport, but the cricket team is okay, and once it was awesome..they did in the last world cup..They battled with Aussies in the end. but its hard to win over the aussies, they are the kings of cricket..But this year, I have to agree that they werent nice at all..hope they get a good coach this time coz there are a few talented players as well, like Sachin, Irfan, Dravid, Dhoni and all...

i dunno what's going on... are we still talking about the world cup or is it just something that wakai said that seems to keep this thread going . Anyway, i kinda agree with avantika when she says that india has talented people like the ones mentioned...

they are indeed a great people that are not so great at soccer
