We're having some problems with the chat room. It has enormous lag rate. And I'm not sure if it's my computer or not, because it's brand spankin' new. Still smells nice, lol.
Anyways. I don't know what's going on but it kicks the entire room out, and lags the screen up.

I don't have any problem with the lagging in the chat. But that is because Jessie (my computer) is amazing. She runs faster and smoother then anything I have ever been on, when I sit by her it's like were the only two in the room...I mean...ahem...Yeah...Fast computer. But there are a lot of people in that chat room complaining about lag. Poor Scorp, I don't think there has been a time when he has been on and hasn't had lagius Maximus. As he likes to call it.

The servers were having some difficulties. I'm working to resolve the problem. In a nutshell there are some conflicting issues running 32bit userspace under 64bit linux. If that's greek to you then here it is in english. It's broken

.
It will be a few days (probably Sunday night) before I get get a complete fix in place. In the mean time I will need to restart the web server once a day (or maybe once every 12 hours. We're watching it right now.

Ooo, okay. Thank you Theo.
And also, on a quick note, my linux is being a little bit doggy. I was freaking out yesterday morning, at like 4 am, I thought someone was trying to hack my system or punt me, Which I don't mind, I'm good at revenge. But now my terminals are all like... Weird. e.e And sometimes it's hard to find a good I.P number when I'm not in my own wireless connection.
This usually happens when I use chat rooms and stuffs like that. e.e

Yeah, I'm experiencing a bit of lag, but as long as I clear my window once it gets full it usually goes back to normal. I'm glad things are getting fixed! Thanks for your help guys

I'm open to suggestions. The original chat I used was off site, but it was very simple, didn't integrate into the forums, and wasn't used very much because of it.

Well I get some lag, that’s because my computer is kind of slow.
But, I can me talking on the chat and one minute it goes all blank and the last messages are at the top. You have to school you loads.
sorry to say this but, when I look up to when the last message is sent when this thing happens Kid messiah is the last one to talk, and the weird thing is it just says his name and the time and ":" those to dots and the big blank space.
It’s only him it happens too.

ummmmmmm hmmmmmm java is always a possiblity but i think many users would have too download the software and i'm not to sure how too find such software cause i belong to a site that had the problem with ppl getting booted out and they scrapped the flashchat all together and went the livechat route.
ummmmm if you want me too i can find out how get the system they run on now and i can e-mail you a link to it, they run on virtual machine now which is a product of java, i hope this helps.

Yeah, I'm no big fan of Java, and try to avoid it where ever possible.
