That's intersting

I was looking for japanese stuffs on wikipedia, and I found out something really intersting, I didn't know it.
That's what I found out:
There are a few hiragana which are rarely used. Wi ゐ and we ゑ.
They are on the ''wa/wo'' line, and I didn't know they existed. Then there was also some uses of these two hiragana...
~ うゐのおくやま
u wi no o ku ya ma
(ui no okuyama)
The deep mountains of vanity
~ゑひもせす
we hi mo se su
(yoi mo sezu)
Shall no longer delude you
It wasn't me who translated those lines, I got them on Wikipedia... ^^
But that's veeeery interesting, because I bought once a InuYasha's thing and there was a text and this (ゐ) hiragana there. I didn't know what this mean, but now I know what is this.. ^^
If anyone want to see where I got this, go to
this page.. ^^
