Thats exactly what they are "rumors". How can Yondaime be the Akatsuki leader if he's dead? Yondaime died sealing the kyuubi, the jutsu used to seal it takes the users life. Obito died, his body was crushed to a pulp, thats how Kakashi got his sharingan. Simply put, this rumor is rediculous.

yes but it's possible the creator has a few tricks and ideas up his sleeves. there are many times in naruto when different characters get out of situations by doing interesting things.
who knows really? not us, only masashi kishimoto will know. and for now we'll wait.

the jutsu takes the users soul, no matter what, even if he did travel in time he still would have lost his soul and hence he is dead

Berfore this vid, i saw the 4th hokage as a sweet, awsome guy but now i LOVE him and he's sexy. If he didn't die, i think his relation ship with Naruto would've been like Goku and Gohan. But if the 4th Hokage is the Akatsuki leader that's good because that means he's not dead! YAY! But if he is, then why would he seal Kyuubi in his own son and then take it out 15 something years later?

its already proven in the manga that the 4th is not the akatsuki leader, and its also proven in the manga that he is naruto's father
