SOUL CALIBUR MOVIE:

Soul Caliber is a popular line of fighting games released by Namco, the plot follows a group of warriors out to retrieve "Soul Edge". Soul Edge is a powerful sword that some believe to be holy, but actually has evil intentions. In the past 3 games of the franchise a NEW sword appeared to challenge Soul Edge and it's evil, known as, "Soul Calibur." If you want more information, go to Wikipedia.





Apparently, a new movie is in the works that follows the storyline called Soul Calibur...There isn't much information, but I figure, if you do not know about it, here is the info.

Well, I can't say I am THAT happy about it...I AM afraid it will be ruined...but, you can't say that EVERY time a movie based on a game comes out. I mean, you haven't even seen a proper trailer. Just, "SOUL CALIBER 2007."


So stop complaining....for now. You can complain about that type of stuff when more information gets released.

Dead or Alive... Well I have yet to see it but it could very well suck...

See a pattern happening? Plus telling an old man he can't complain is like telling a teenager he can't think about girls... It's not going to happen!

Hollywood ruins great games ,,they find gold and waste it on hoes. gears of war is going to be another tragic hollywood story and as for transformers i believe is going to be a good movie.

i'm actually NOT a fan of the Soul Blade/Soul Calibur games. i only get one kick button, and back ISNT guard.

in fighting games, its kinda manditory that BACK is block. i dont mind not having 2 kicks, so long as there is a parry, like in DOA. now DOA was a terrible movie. aint seen it, but i know it is. everyone i know who has seen it called it abismal.

Ok i can agree some vidoe games to movies did suck (mortal comabt wasn't that bad) but the directors need to rake the dame stuff seriously and they should actually play the dame games and ask people who now the game what is a good idea and what just sucks

Mortal Kombat: Crap
Resident Evil: Crap
Street Fighter: Crap (except for "Street Fighter 2: The Movie" which was anime, and really good)
Pacman (i heard rumours somewhere....) Probably crap

you CANNOT take a video game, and make it into a good movie. it is really impossible. HOWEVER, the reverse is do-able. Movie to video game transitions can work. look at Grand Theft Auto. or, even passing references, like in the SNES classic, "Flashback," which tipped winks at "Blade-Runner"

OK Resident evil movies were good there even coming out with another one i thinks its calle extintion or something and the tomb raider movies were sort of crap but weren't that bad but hey that just me

GTA is only entertaining because you are free to do whatever you want...but I don't find that as a, "great game."
