Minor Problem

Often when I make a poll I only need to have 2 options to the quetsion. So I set up my Poll with the required 2 options, and then when I go to submitt I still get an error message saying 'You must enter at least two poll options.' which is strange as I've alreday offered 2 options. So I add a third option like 'not sure' and then submitt it. And what happens then is it submitts, but the 3rd option isn't on the posted poll. So, its not really a problem, but it is annoying. Has anyone else had this problem?

My Poll in this thread worked absolutely fine. And I just went to edit post for all my other Polls (some of them didnt let me see the edit poll info but some did) and it appears that I never put a third option on. But Im just so positive I did that I really dont know whats going on.

I just worked out, that when the error message 'You must enter at least two poll options.' comes up, even though you alreday have two, it adds a third option space on the end of the poll. Which is blank, and you dont have to fill it out after that for it to work. This is ridiculous lol. And maybe the reason the poll above worked without deleting the third option is because mods/webmaster, if you were to go to edit it you would find a blank 4th option on the end.
Anyway, this is over my head and, as I said, a minor problem so maybe its not worth doing anything about
thanks

You have to click "add option"...or whatever it says, ex
{do you like pie}
option one [yes] edit, remove
option two [no] add option <don>
Or something...that was probably really confuseing, I am doing it by memory. but after you type in option two you have to add it.

When you enter your first option in the box and click the "Add Option" button, the page refreshes, showing your option in a box with two buttons next to it, "Update" and "Delete". On the next line is a new box for a second option with the button "Add Option" next to it. The common mistake here is to type the second option in the box and click "Submit" instead of "Add Option". If you try to submit it will give you the warning message because you didn't actually add the second option.

Now now, I think I added to the confusion. But after you read what Ken said, then read what I said, mine makes sence, at least you can tell I know what I am trying to say...
