Or they could've died out themselves but I cant think of anything of natural causes that would've killed them and not the humans, so they probably were killed by demon slayers etc.. However, that leaves me to wonder where Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are in Kagome's time because they both seemed too strong to be slayed by demon slayers etc. (especially Sesshomaru)

huh, hello! have you been paying attention? Kagome's era has them too- like the noh mask demon or the childrens souls demon. besides, at least in the manga they explain this abcense.

ya they still do have demons in kagome's era, but very few. They're mostly just objects or spirits, not BIG demons like the ones in the feudal era. Oh and to add to Tenshi, there is also that demon from the third movie (I forgot his name).

I do think we don't see demons in Kagome's era 'cause they learned to bled in with humans.

maybe..... but it would be cool to see Inu battle this daiyokai at Kagome's time and evry1 (including police) comes to watch, and then Kagome's friends finally know her secret.

How about this? If humans with swords and bows can kill demons, imagine what humans with guns, tanks, missiles, etc, could do to demons.

So maybe all of the demons went into hiding because if they revealed themselves then they have huge armies with powerful weapons after them.
