What is the name for Naussica's glider?

I know it had a name, just cant remember what it was exctly. any and all help appreciated.

also, what did you all think of this if you've readd it?

I actualy called the flying things in Halo2 Mehves when i first saw them... cause i was reading the manga's and it was my first time playing so i called them something fammiliar XD;;;;

I never read it, heard about it. Is it any good?
