Did this really happen?

Alright, I'm not new to Dragonball or Dragonball Z. Now, I'm a little fuzzy on the later episodes of Dragonball GT, but that's not really a big point in here. Anyways, I've seen most of the movies as well. But today at work I was told something that I'm not sure if I can believe or not.

We all know the order that things go in:
Dragonball
Dragonball Z
Dragonball GT

That's very basic and there are movies and what not thrown in there. Now the information I was given at work was:

After GT, there is a short 4 episode series based on Goku going like WAY nuts and evil. He kills ChiChi and in the end Pan goes UBER(word used by co-worker) strong and kills Goku.

Basically, that was the information that was given to me. Of course there was details I left out about me wondering and questioning. I even asked if it could have been a movie that I haven't heard of, but he said that it wasn't. He said it was episodes (around 4 I think he said).

Now, I'm just wondering...Am I being tricked, lied to, or anything like that? Cause he was really serious about it. I'm thinking it might of been something fan made that he watched online, is that even possible? Cause I have honestly never heard of that. I thought that it might be a part of GT I didn't watch (cause I only watched a little bit of that, not really getting into it). He he swears that it's not a part of GT.

So I'm asking you all, Did this really happen? Is there something beyond GT that isn't a movie?

No, this is not true. GT ended with Goku leaving to journey with Shenron. It may have been a fan series, but no, it's not made by the makers of Dragonball/Z/GT. You got lied to, I'm afraid.

If you want to be technical GT is only a fan series as well... Toriyama had nothing to do with GT...

I knew that about GT...it explains why it wasn't really all that...well, honestly, I don't think it was all that good. Felt a bit slapped together. One of those things that they wanted to put out fast so that it could catch the tail end of a fan craze and still be accepted enough to be bought. I don't like those things.

Yeah, it would have been a lot better if they ended it with Dragonball Z.

Yeah, and most people would have probably been happy with that. But there were enough people that wanted more, so they made GT...it sadden me to watch it. I've been watching DB since it first came on in 1995, so seeing GT really disappointed me. It just didn't interest me at all. So sad, it was all about earning more money off of the DB and DBZ fan base.
