Scientifically speaking, i am 150 percent sure that uchiha madara was connected to akatsuki. In the first place, What happened to itachi after he left konoha? The answer is: He went to akatsuki. obviously. Analitically, its because he had a connection. plus! He said "ONLY the three of us can use magenkyou sharingan"
He, Sasuke... and... it cant be kakashi or obito because they have half sharingans now right? Its obviously Uchiha madara. (And whats the pont of mentioning him in the firstr place?)

Possibly, Uchiha madara may be a member or even the LEADER of AKATSUKI!

What makes me not 100 percent sure that he's the leader?

Because the power of the leader executes no sharingan.

(being a novelist myself, i know the use of foreshadowing...)

Why the hell do he have to appear like he was a very very main char? Heh, i mean, he is not as strong as tyhe others but why him? He showed naruto a sympathy in the very start. Making him important. yes.

Another thing, Akatsuki agreed that each of them will have a jinchuuriki sealed inside them. The original members of akatsuki is TEN and how can they possibly seal nine beasets into ten people? My theory is that there is a tenth jinchuuriki. IRUKA. hehehehe!!

The leader could very well be Uchiha Madara, I highly doubt the leader is the the Third Kazekage though. My reason is that if the leader was the third Kazekage and he did make an exact clone of himself then sasori wouldn't be able to make a puppet out of the coarpse since the clone turns back into the person sacrificed upon death.

the problem with uchiha madara being the akatsuki leader is that it negates the point of itachi being a member. if that were the case then there'd be two member with sharingan, and so far, the leader has not been seen using sharingan, or maybe he doesn't need to....lol. i dunno, let's leave it to Masashi Kishimoto.

Well it does make you blind if you hold it for too long so maby he just want's to keep his eye sight. But yeah we should just let Kishimoto-san tell us.

yeah i agree, but also isn't it only a danger to your eye sight if you use the ledegendary attacks, such as the attacks that require Mangekyo Sharingan

I think you might be right, then again the Mangekyo Sharingan does take alot of chakara to stay active.

or maybe Kishimoto-san has something planned for madara in the near future? if he is the leader.... (like showing us who the leader is), it'd be a great debate as to why he/she was a the leader.

When Sasuka enters Naruto mind its the first episode of the Shippuden anime, the 9 tails said that Madara's chakra was even more sinister than its own at the time and that Sasuke now holds the same chakra.

You pretty Much summed up why its not the third kazekage, becuz sasori killed him or poisoned him in order to sacrificed him to create the perfect doll.

it can't be kakashi since he is not a complete sharingan user, only one of he's eyes has the power of sharingan... and there are only 2 real uchiha members left, sasuke and itachi. anyway kakashi can't use magenkyou for as long as itachi or sasuke, plus he has no control over he's sharingan like the uchiha brothers.
