Billy Talent ->> any anime imo depends on the song...
Beck MCS)/Beat crusaders ->> beck (mongolian chop squad)...OMG!!! wait that's not coincidental since it is a band anime
Nobuo Uematsu ->> any of his final fantasy works would definately work as background music ^_^
Dragon Force ->> some Fantasy anime i watched...
Sum 41 ->> sum of their songs would definately work as OP's for NA cartoons ^_^

Not many would have the taste for nightwish I think since its more symphony/Opera/metal. It kinda like goth metal but some of their songs really kick ass, ithey would be great in anime, like samurai Gun or some other anime.
