any of u know if there was and old version on rave master cos my m8 says she used to watch and im very confused

If youre talking about the original version that aired in Japan it is called 'Groove Adventure Rave.' The main difference between the original and the US version is the dialogue subbing in the original is geared more towards older teens/adults than the 'kid-dubbed' version of Rave Master. I'm not sure but I think that the original might have more blood in it?? But that's just speculation. At least the manga is targeted toward the older teens/adults crowd than the dubbed show.

most anime in american comes from older shows

It would help if you could give a description of the plot of the show your friend watches. It could be that they have it mixed up with another show that sounds similar...like Rune Soldier or something

its not...the manga...i read it and it says its for youth 7+.....i have no clue what ur reading contact Hiro Mashima some how...but it is more bloody...somewhat
