Absolute Anime

Well I am wondering if it is worth watching. My friend has been talking about it all the time.

RahXephon is fantastic. Simply...astounding. Easily one of my top 5 favorites =)

A lot of people compare it to Neon Genesis Evangelion, calling it a "rip off". In my opinion, it's Evangelion done right; everything it should have been, but failed at. Not to mention the characters are far more interesting, and the ending doesn't suck. Watch it

^ What this guy said. It is very good, well worth watching. You may want to watch the movie after the series, I found its ending to be a bit better than the TV ending.

yes the movie and manga endings are better than the naime ending.
but rah-xephon is awsome, yet a bit confusing if u dont pay attention and follow it carefully.
i advise it, its awsome specially the original version.

This series is fantastic, I loved every minute of it. I reminded me of Neon Genesis however, but a more relaxing Neon, with better music. Rahxephon is a must watch for all.

Wow! After seeing so many people elsewhere that state that RahXephon is terrible because it is an Evangelion clone, it is rather refreshing to see people who think the opposite.

Now don't get me wrong, I thought RahXephon was a good anime, not great though. The music and artwork were very nice but the plot and character development was a bit of a let down.

Honestly though, in places I did see some strong similarities with Evangelion, what I'm not saying here is that it is an Evangelion clone, because its far from that. I merely saw some similarities.

Unfortunately this anime didn't even make it close to my top 10 anime's. Due to its weak plot and character development and its similarities to Evangelion I would have given it around 5.5/10.

It's funny seeing so many people who love the series; because I hated it. I usually like mecha anime - but I really, really found RahXephon tedious and boring.

I didn't like the characters, or the robot designs - and once I dislike the characters the plot doesn't matter. I bought all three manga and hated the manga.
I bought the first DVD and hated it as well. I tried to watch more on YouTube, but I just couldn't put myself through with it.

The story didn't grab me, and god I REALLY hated Reika/Ayato. I don't even know why I do; I just have the urge to throw down the manga whenever I try to pick it up again.

Honestly? I reckon you should try it out - because not all animes are for everyone. I'm just one of the people who didn't like it.
