Absolute Anime

Now in FMA I read Ed's bio and it says he was born in 1899, now when he is in the military in the early 1900s I don't believe that they had pistols, like the one Riza has.
Am I wrong?

I think it's the most perfect anime I've ever seen! And same thing for the manga!

It completely ruined the manga with emo bullcrap and a half-assed ending. And the anime's plot and characters are massively inferior, I mean for god's sake they took out Ling, and the main villain sucked (same reason why the Hellsing anime bombed, they took out the awesome Nazi storyline and Alucard's past. And Incognito was half the villain The Major is)

Wouldn't you at least tried to tell it in a less offensive way??? I think its the best anime of all, and I haven't read the manga complete (here in Mexico is diffiicult to find it) , but anime based in manga are like movies based on books, its not the same stuff. But at least you should try to least appreciate the work more, no?? And if you think that, why don0t you try to say it in another place, if you are posting on this section is most likely to the ones in here like a lot the anime.

PD: I just sayit because this anime means a lot for me, and to someone to say that really hurts me, Sorry because I know that everyone has different opinion and all but it really hurts....

I might have thought it was above average had I not read the manga, which is vasly superior, and learned how much of a horrid butchery of a great story the anime is

Not always true. There are some anime that follow the manga very faithful

But if they really ruined it, why Hiromu Arkawa didn't protest of they ruining her work? She was present at the making of. She would sure say something, don't you think?

Well, I'd like to discuss about the manga too, but the problem is that I don't wanna read some kind of spoiler and I don't know if the chapter the manga is in here matches with the chapter you're in there.

(the manga is at the 30rd volume here. It's about half of the manga in Japan.)
