Has anyone ever seen the anime called Last Exile

No, is it good? What's good about it?

I've heard a lot of people enjoyed this anime. What was good about it?

The animation quality is superb, the plot is fantastic along with the character development of the series. For the most part it is fast paced and can be exciting to watch, it can get rather addicting at times.


It is considered a steampunk genre. Koichi Chigira did a great job developing the plot as I mentioned, Gonzo licensed this anime sometime ago and the stuido uses 2-D and 3-D elements to make some gorgeous scenes and animation sequences.


Here is Kens profile on "Last Exile" ... Any anime fan needs to watch this, no doubt about it and to be honest I believe the author of this thread should change the name to "Last Exile" because ANIME does not do it justice at all... more specific?

Last Exile is a masterpiece, and a must-watch for any anime fan. I personally loved it, even though the ending was a little lackluster. Not to say it was a *bad* ending; I just felt like the writers tried to cram too much into the final scenes, and it just became really cluttered.

Very well then. I'll give this anime a go.

I thought this anime did have incredible animation and design, but the story really didn't atract me much.
Then again I only watched a few eps given some moving issues. I may try it again, though...

I have seen it, and I've found it quite terrible.
As some people said, designs are great, really great. At first I was amazed by this anime... but then I found the story fall apart, characters behave in a stupid way and such: they had such a wonderful background and they threw it away with a stupid story and stupid characters.

Since many people enjoined it, I howewer suggest to watch it: maybe you will like as many other anime fans did, and I'm the one that is wrong

I have never seen it...i have heard only his name..but u will definitely search about this anime on the internet and also download its episodes....................
