Absolute Anime

This thread is basically for people to post suggestions that they think would improve the forums here. The Role Play and Chit Chat forums are great, but what else can we do to make this place better?

Well, one thing I'd like to suggest is that we make a Hellsing thread, we're getting a lot of fans here so I think we should. Also bigger avatars, like 100x100.

having pic in signatures would be cool! But that takes up admins space...

Probably is time for some more perminant Forums. Hellsing, among them. And we need to encourage people who post to Anime Discussion and Any Specific Anime to use the existing Forums dedicated to a particular anime like Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, etc.

i believe a 'book' thread would be great. maybe be able to talk about poetry there too. or published song lyrics and so forth...would be a great contribution.

We had a Pic of The Day thread going under Any Specific Anime .... until our favorite gallery site locked us out (pout) Seeing pictures of people's favorite characters was really neat. I need to research some more sites and start posting picture links again.

There was one more suggestion I'd like to make. Webmaster, please consider this one.

I've notice in the Inuyasha and Yugioh forums, that it's really gone out of control. I mean, everything in them has gone so random and filled with repeating threads.
So I was wondering if you could make sub-categories.
I've seen this done in some places. I think it'd really bring order in some forums. For example, a lot of people in the Yugioh forum, want to duel online. So make a sub-category in there just for duels and put them all in there and people who want to duel put there new threads in there from now on. Also, like 'Pairings' for who ends up with who. And 'Misc.' for whatever the heck they want to talk about that anime, and so many others kinds of categorys. It could bring back order to some forums.

So please take this into consideration webmaster

The phpBB forum doesn't support sub-categories. There is a hack out there to add this support which I looked into, but installing it is a huge pain. It's not like installing a program where you just keep hitting the Next button. Installing phpBB hacks require adding and changing a lot of PHP code, and the sub-category mod has a ton of modifications that would need to be done which will be very time-consuming and require a lot of concentration. So, perhaps sometime in the future, but for right now I'm not quite up to installing it yet.

ive alreday suggested a Samurai Deeper Kyo forum and got an answer from Dark Lily...so ill try to get more people to support it so we can get one ^^
Also i would love having pics in the signature although i understand why we dont.

Many Ninja Scroll threads have been made. A variety of members have particiapted in the numerous threads, so I think that is an anime which a forum should be considered to be made for webmaster.

edit: Love Hina would make a good forum, so would Chobits.

A Review forum would be excellent!

It would help get rid of the suggestion threads! and Give people more to do! Please please consider this webmaster!

How long does it take to clean each section?
