One question, just because it's yaoi doesn't mean it's hentai, Gravitation is yaoi and isn't hentai, so why was this thread moved? It never meantioned yaoi hentai it simply metioned yaoi.

Does this mean that if I start a thread on Kannazuki no miko or Kashimashi girl meets girl or Gravitation it will be moved to this section? All three shows are shoujo-ai/yuri/shounen-ai/yaoi, but the difference is they don't contain pornographic scenes, but still are shoujo-ai/yuri/shounen-ai/yaoi.

The name yaoi/yuri doesn't mean pornographic it just means same gender relationships

And yaoi is considered a form of hentai, hon, except when refered only to shoujo and stuff like that, but yaoi itself is hentai. Check the dictionary if you don't believe me.

I think it's more of an opinion that it's hentai. Unless specified as Yaoi-Hentai/Yuri-Hentai it isn't nessarily pornographic. And "Kashimasi girl meets girl" is classified as "Yuri" and it contains absolutly no pornographic material.

Unless of course you consider kissing to be pornography. If thats the case no one would be able to kiss without being porn stars. lol j/k

Actually if you want to go dictionary. Here is straight from a dictionary.
(yuri) Stories in anime or manga which focus on female homosexuality (not necessarily erotic in nature).
(yaoi) Stories in anime or manga which focus on male homosexuality (not necessarily erotic in nature).

Actually I was refering to a translation dictionary (japanese-english) but ok.
I agree, but this thread is called Best Yaoi, therefore the content may later include material that should be acessible to some of our 12 year old users...
And the term yaoi was originally born to associate with hentai, it's meaning has just changed throughout time.

Boys love - Fluff formanly known as shonen Ai, but was changed soon after the release of the first shota movie boku no pico
