The Character designs of Naruto

Has anyone noticed that the characters in Naruto are drawn differently than other anime characters? I mean, if anyone has seen the following anime, you may have noticed that they have similiar characteristics:
Pokemon
Slayers
Beyblade
Rurouni Kenshin
Record of Lodoss War
Ranma 1/2
Revolutionary Girl Utena
Tenchi
X
Trigun and many others, they all seem to have a small pointed nose, big eyes, small mouths that get big when excited, and shine in their hair. But in Naruto, they don't have the "anime look" as I call it. Anyone notice that?

that makes Naruto unique.

Yeah, If you look at Naruto's or Sakura's Eyes, Their Pupils are just Black Dots, whereas on Other Animes They Do Not Usually Have very distinctive Pupils, They are either Really really Big or they have none.

Yup. Thats what I noticed. I guess that would make Naruto unique, but I kinda like that classic anime look.

Thanks! I couldn't help but notice it. I mean, even the characters in Bleach have the classic anime look.
