Absolute Anime

what Manga do you recommend? look at the poll or just tell me one.

I haven't read Sgt. Frog, but I cannot in good conscience recommend Bleach to anyone.

Then JoJo's Bizarre Adventure would be a great series to check out. It's REALLY hard to find any sub-series of it besides Part 3 (and if you don't want to buy the edited as hell volumes, Part 3 is hard to find as well), but if you can find it, you will not be sorry once the story picks up. The entire storyline is amazing through all 7 parts, the characters are great, and both Stands and hamon make for some of the most unique and interesting fights I have ever seen. I can easily say it is the best manga I have ever read and goes down as an absolute masterpiece in my book.

All of that is more than I can say for Bleach, which has a copypasta "rescue *insert character here* from a group of villains in their headquarters" routine for its plot. The characters have no development whatsoever after Soul Society Invasion arc (and even that was done quite haphazardly) and all the worthwhile characters get watered down (Grimmjow) or cut from the story (Kenpachi). The fights are all generic hack and slash, spam equally generic energy attack, repeat hack and slash cycle. This series is what happens when a mangaka spends all of his time on the art and none of it on story or originality.
