I've been wanting to make this thread ever since I joined, so here it is.

This is the official Guitar Hero thread for those who enjoy to rock with a plastic guitar.

Come here and discuss, talk, offer tips & ask for any help about the game.

I have been playing ever since Guitar Hero came out for the playstation2 & bought Guitar Hero II & Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock for my Xbox360. (In real life I'm a Bass player in a band.)

I easily master Easy, medium and most Hard songs. I'm still practicing on Hard so I can continue on to expert. Currently I'm in a jam right now in Career mode (Hard), the Guitar Hero Battle against Lou is pretty tough, I was wondering if anyone can offer me some tips?

P.S: Anyone done "Through the Fire & Flames" by Dragonforce in Hard? If so, please tell me How the ^&%# did you complete it?!

Haha, my brother is still raging over the fact that he can get only 98% through 'Through the Fire & Flames' on hard.

Dang that's good.

The most I've gotten in Medium is 88% , need to practice it more.

oh god hard on through the fire and the flames? i can't even make it through medium god dang. i have been almost all medium songs in guitar hero III being it's my friends and i barely ever go over there. I beat all of easy and half of medium on only my second try. but then again that was an all nighter. i stay up for one day playing guitar hero nonstop.

the tip of my middle finger still feels numb...

btw, is that a bad sign?

I also have trouble playing that song in medium, and mostly all songs in that difficulty level I do more than 90%. In hard I can do a couple but "Through the Fire & Flames" was actually considered one of the baddest bosses of 2007 by Game Informer.

exactly. i have a friend who found a video on youtube of somebody who can play Through the Fire and the Flames on Expert with 3 or 4 mistakes....

GRAWAR! TTFATF hates me, and I hate it. ;_; All in all it's a great game, and the only reason that I've stopped playing it is that I've got school getting in the way, and little to no time for me to play the Wii anymore. Still, game is Soo badass.

Fav. Song: Barracuda on Hard-Expert.

Let me see...

I like Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones, Even Flow by Pearl Jam, Lay Down by Priestess, 3's & 7's by Queens of the Stone Age, La Grange by ZZ Top, etc, etc. All on Medium (and like 2 of them on hard.)

Same here.
I also get lost sometimes, I hit the fret buttons so fast that I accidently move my fingers and hit all the buttons wrong because my fingers weren't on the right colors.

My fingers are on the right buttons, but I press the wrong colors. Or I press the buttons earlier than I should.
That's why I get lost sometimes.

Happens to me from time to time. XD

Sometimes funny stuff happens to me.

In fast songs, I almost never miss anything.

In slower songs, I hit the fret button and strum the guitar before the note even reaches the destination.

I never tried to play in Hard or Expert.... I think I have to train more in medium..... XD
I'm better in fast songs than in slower ones too... XDD That's why I think Medium is easier than Easy.

It is easier, once you get used to playing fast songs all the time the slow ones in easy get hard cause their just too slow compared on what you do on medium.

I've tried only the first songs in the top of the song list. I haven't even thought of doing the ones on the bottom yet.

I dont have the game, but everytime I go to EB Games at the mall, I play it, and now im in medium. ( I go to Eb games a lot)

I actually played the Wii version at a nearby mall where I live and got like almost 100% on "Miss Murder" in Medium. The clerks in the store where like "Who the F**k is this kid? He's Good."

Does it have a Wii version? I didn't know that... I played on my friend's PS2....
And I like very much the song "Miss Murder".. I go in Medium too.. and I get good results on it too.. about 97%... ^^
My brother did 10¨% in a song in Medium... I don't remember the name now, but he did. o__o
