We're always hearing about the best because they rock, but which ones sucked the most?

I don't know how is that song in japanese, but I don't like Itazurana Kiss (InuYasha), Brand New World (InuYasha)... they sucked in portuguese! >___<'

You mean they were sung in portuguese? No wonder they sucked! No offense to your language or anything, I mean that the songs should stay in their original language. Like, the Yuyu Hakusho opening was resung in english and it totally sucked.
I really hated the 4Kids version of the One piece opening. It was a complete embarassment.

It's ok, I don't like songs in portuguese.. u___u
I'm glad that recently they are keeping the original songs here in Brazil, so we don't have to suffer! XDD
Yuyu Hakusho was kept with the original opening, in japanese.

Really? Then what the hell gave Funimation the idea that they could translate it? DAMN IT! XD Yea, I noticed since Yuyu and Kenshin all the songs have been in the original japanese and I'm like "couldn't you have just done that with all anime?" XD

Worst opening ever (obviously I talk about original ones... can't even comment italian themes, they're unbelievabely awful) to me is by far the Samurai Champloo one.
That was something that made my ears bleed.

You think it was that bad? XD I was ok with it but it really wasn't the best. So, do you live in Italy?

Not in Italy, but in the italian part of Switzerland: this brings me to know some more languages (ita/fr/ger/eng).

Anyway, I don't dislike hip-hop music or themes: the Samurai Champloo one, however, nearly made me drop the serie even before seeing the first episode.
Everytime it started I had chills for a couple of seconds, before being able to skip it and going directly to the episode. Really, really bad for me. I didn't hear anything even close to a similar awfulness, so far.

XD I usually skip it too because I think it's boring. That's cool that you live in Switzerland! There's a lot of languages there! That must be awesome. I grew up with just english and it's no fun. But I'm learning German!

Well, I grew up with Italian, when I was 7 I started learning french, when I was 12 I started with german, and I self-learned english using the net. Actually studying japanese, but that's something I just began and it's faaaar from being able to speak it :D Switzerland is a nice but strange place, and at least I can see things in many different languages and I'm able to check "wich one is best" :)

About themes, I skip the ones I don't like, I sometimes see the ones I find nice and I always watch the ones I love. I watched the Lucky Star opening every single time I could :D

I do the same thing. If I love it, I can't get enough of it and if I hate it, I skip it. You're english is pretty good considering you self learned over the net. It's pretty sad acutally, someone who self learns english over the internet speaks it better than a native of the language. Meaning, American's can't speak english worth crap. XD I've said the same thing to Rin. I've been wondering though, is english hard to learn as a second language? It's hard to put it into perspective with learning japanese or german as a second language because they just aren't the same. (I'm learning Japanese too. It's a lot easier to understand once you learn the basics than to speak it but that's just my opinion

I'm really sorry to interupt but i'm going back to the original subject. :D Just to throw my opinion out there. I didn't like the Death Note opening theme. Most of you will probably hate me for it too.

Well, I loved it a lot but I agree that it wasn't fit for a anime opening. Artistically it was awesome (images + sounds were simply astounding, imho), but... out of place.
Wouldn't take it as "worst ever" for that, tho.

I know it wasn't the worst ever but I still didn't like it. :D

Yea the song and the visual didn't match! Each one is good on its own but together it just didn't work. Same with the ending theme.
