The interesting thing is Blood+ is actually a series based on an animated movie called Blood: The Last Vampire made a while back. I was really happy that they made the anime since I liked the movie a lot. The two just have the same main character and monsters, and the rest is pretty different.

I think the movie's characters aren't beautiful. The anime's characters are more beautiful...
but I like both! ^^

That 's true, the characters in the movie didn't look as good, but then again that goes for alot of the movies made back then like Ghost in the Shell and Akira. The only thing is I wish the anime tied into the movie a bit more.

Yea I really want to see the movie but when I went to buy it the look of the animation worried me that I might not have the right movie. But I did. That would have been cool to see the movie and the anime more tied in. btw, is Haji even in the movie?

nope, the only character's the movie and the anime share is Saya and the Chiropterans. The Lewis in there isn't the same one as in the anime.

I haven't seen the movie yet but that's just dumb. Haji should have been in the movie. At least made an appearance. From what my friend told me, the whole movie was pretty much Saya killing chiropterans in a huge bloody 45 minute mess

Quite the contrary, there are only a few chiropterans in the movie and the story is actually very good. The thing is even if Haji did appear he wouldn't have much connection to Saya because the Chevaliers don't exist in the anime so at best he would be some school kid who likes Saya, then gets rejected by her about helf way through or at the end or gets eaten by a chiropteran.
