Some of you may have noticed that the website had become much slower than normal last week, and extremely so in the past couple of days. We discovered that this was happening because the CPU on the server was constantly maxed out, which we believe was somehow caused by corrupted data being written to the hard drives. So everything got torn apart and fixed up, plus we went ahead and did a software upgrade while we were at it. Thus, everything should now be running good as new!

I don't mean to complain, but I've been getting 'cannot find server' messages.

Ken,

Sorry for the 30 minute outage today...

I had to remotely reboot the machine after upgrading some modules and found out that they keyboard check hadn't been disabled on the new box after it was installed and since we don't have keyboards plugged up at the colo the server decided to wait for the F1 key...

I'd fire the technician but it was myself. So as punishment I'll go catch a movie tonight and play an extra round of War Craft when the wife isn't watching.
