I've never seen the anime, but I've read the manga!
I think it's really funny. I like it.
But it's not my favorite series of CLAMP.

I also read the manga. It is good, isn't it? Icchan is probably the funniest. I like it too.
While it is in my collection, and I do like it, its also not my favorite from CLAMP. My favorite manga from CLAMP is Cardcaptor Sakura and Chobits. But I still like Angelic Layer, and if you like the manga, you'll like the anime. The anime even elaboates on the manga, like it gives brief backgrounds on Madoka and Arisu, Sai, Kaede, and we get to see more Ringo! Also, Misaki's mom can't see, not because she is too shy, but because she needs treatment for her legs, as she has a neurological disease, but nothing bad happens to her. They also give brief backgrounds on Misaki, Shuko, Icchan and Ohjiro, and Misaki and Hatoko are even closer friends then they are in the manga. And if you think Kotaro gets with Misaki. Think again!

Thats all I'll say, cause in case you do see the anime, I don't wanna spoil it for ya.

Yes, but in a good way. They really elaborate on it.

Yeah, they make it more interesting. Like I said, all the elaborations and changes are good.
