Ok, first Rozen Maiden discussion thread (that I know of).
What do think?
Who's your fav character?
Ect, anything as long as it RM.

Good anime, I've seen the two series it quite a bit of time ago. The idea is original, and that's what I liked the most: fights are nice too, and graphic-wise there's nothing to complain.

Best char? I guess the two sisters, but mainly Souseiseki.

My favorite character is Suigin Tou ^^

I pretty much watched everything animated of Rozen Maiden so far- Rozen Maiden (12 eps), RM Traumend (12 eps), RM Overture (OVA- 2 eps- important for Suigintou fans) and the kunkun OVA.

I love the animation and the plot is pretty good (I'm also reading the manga but I cant find the last 4 volumes and so far I think I prefer the anime), I also love the OST and character development.

My favs are- Suigintou, Suiseiseki, Souseiseki.

Rumour has it a new season is coming up soon.

I checked it out after Tenshi told me about it, and I was aware of the whole "desu" thing that spread like a virus, glad I looked into it. Guess I favour Suigintou as I saw her story on Overture. Also like Suiseiseki, Can be an evil [censored] at times, but when it comes down to it she has a good heart. (Ep 5 of the first series is a personal Suiseiseki favorite.)

I am not too fond of the following for the stated reasons:
Shinku - Arrogant and abusive.
Rozen (The dolls' creator/father) 2 words. "Alice" and "Game" plus Laplace's Demon - Creepy humaniod rabbit, needs shotgunning

He does tell Shinku that there are other ways to become Alice, but he seemed to wait until two of his daughters are for most intents and purposes are dead

I have the first four volumes of the manga, and it's pretty good. I don't like Shinku too much, and I originally didn't like Jun - but then I grew to like him as I learned more about him.
Treats his sister like crap though. D=

Suiseiseki and Suigintou are my favorites.

I also only have the first 4 volumes, I can't find the last 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It pisses me off!

And I agree, though my love for Jun is quite limited.

I ended up watching the whole thing on youtube.

A friend sent me the whole first season in dvd, i ended up downloading the rest from youtube XD (promised my sister I'd get it for her).

I need the last 4 frigging volumes of the darn manga!!! *going loony*

PS-More substancial rumors state that a new season may be coming soon.

Well, they have to make a 3rd season. Didn't see enough of Kira, plus some other stuff.

It's not like the DVDs were released in the UK. and as far as I know, there aren't any traumand dvds outside of japan.

Indeed, but I guess it's better to download the fansubbed version to see a full-screen, good-quality product.
Afterall, anime is about seeing something nice too, I guess!
