Introduction
This is just a pilot forum, but I am hoping that it work well. Just as it sounds, if you need help with a particular homework problem, or just need an explanation about a particular concept, post it here in this forum. (Not in this particular thread).

Oh this is a good idea.
They say"practice makes perfect" but "nobody is perfect" so why practice.

Re: Introduction
Oh Athos you said ‘Would’ twice Or was there meant to be a comma between the two?
It’s like a homework club. It’s a good idea.

Re: Introduction
I see. I can just about seen the screen at 2 AM. XD
But thats off topic.
I’m having trouble with this:
Work the Value of:
6.27 x 4.52
-----------
4.81 + 9.63
I can work out all the sums but what do I do with the numbers after. Times them? Plus them? or Devide them?
But thats off topic.

Re: Introduction
If I'm reading it correctly, you mean (6.27*4.52)/ (4.81+9.63)Commander Sparx wrote:I see. I can just about seen the screen at 2 AM. XD

Generally:
* = multiplication
/ = divide
^ =denotes something to an exponent Ex: (x^2) [x squared]
so then (6.27*4.52)= 28.34
(4.81+9.63)=14.44
= (28.34)/(14.44)
=1.963 I rounded the answer off to 4 digits because of significant numbers (sig figs).
