Yeah I'm gonna post a few poems cuz I haven't been posting any lately. >.> Sorry if I've posted any of these before. ;.;

I loved you
And you loved me
Our love was
Passionate
Unconditional
Everlasting
Until she came along
I love you
And you loved me
Now our love is
Chummy
Tentative
And only truly existed int he past
But oh how we loved
We loved with a love
That was more than love
We went beyond
We thought beyond thoughts
We felt beyond feeling
We loved beyond love
Buy now our love is strained
I have to hink twice
Before I say anything to you
I have to question
When the right time is
To say that I love you
Making sure that it's playful
And no more serious than you prefer
And I know that
From now on
I can no longer take your "i love you"'s
To heart

My heart beats
And sometimes, I can feel it
And I know that someone, somewhere
Is loving me
Oftimes it is but a soft, slow beat
And I know someone loves me
Kindly, friendly, relatingly (I know that's not a word. Work with me here. >.<)
But sometimes my heart pounds
So hard that it rings in my ears
And I know someone is loving me
Passionately, purely, truly
And those are times that I love someone back
Purely, truly, passionately
But regularly, I just love
Both in spoken word and in action
In the tears that I cry
And in other-wordly truths
And I hope
That those people's hearts are beating too
For as long as I love them and they me
And even, if such a time came, when our love ceased
Do I hope for their hearts to beat
Because I know, whether I be on the list or no,
That they have others to love
And there will always be others to love them
...........
I can feel it
My heart is beating
Slowly, softly
And it makes me wonder, who
Is loving me
Right now
~
Thoughts From A Contented Solitude (6-22-08)
As I sat beside the window
Watching the rain fall
I felt almost lonely
Yet at the same time
Content in my solitude
And as the lightning struck
And the thunder roared
I watched the rain hit the window
And the cars roll by on the street below
Pelted with the teardrops of the sky
And for a moment I felt lonely
Yet then again,
Content in my solitude
The darkened room surrounding me,
Lightened only by the rain-splattered window,
Was empty
Not a soul within its dwellings
With the exceptions of my guardian angels and I
Yet somehow, even with their presence,
I still felt lonely
But make no mistake,
I was content in my solitude
...
And the downpour continued
And there, across the railroad tracks,
Lied the old church,
Looking as empty as I felt inside
And its cross,
Perched high above its roof,
Received the full onslaught of the rain
And there was I, feeling lonely,
Yet contented in my solitude,
As I sat beside the window
