Absolute Anime

hey, i just got the first volume of gunslinger girl and i love it! it's a fairly new manga cause it only has 2 volumes out so far, but i gurantee that if u love action, guns, and (if ur a guy) cute girls then GUNSLINGERGIRL is for u! here's a little about it.........

Henrietta barely survived a brutal attack that killed her family. "Rescued" by the Social Warefare Agency, her injuries were repared with robotic components and she was brainwashed--lost with the memory of her family's death was almost every trace of her humanity. Today she is an extarordinary lethal cyborg assasin, obedeintly working with her handler GIuseppe to carry out her deadly tasks.

Despite her condition and programming, Henrietta still has the heart of a young girl; she has not completely forgotten how to love. Yet the very emotion is contrary to her training and programming. Can the GUNSLINGERGIRL survive? can she find peace in a struggle against her very nature?

Well that was more like alot about it, but whatever, GUNSLINGERGIRL is a guranteed thriller! so i suggest u read it.

That actually sounds like a cool series, based on your description. May have to look into it, thanx for the info.

This is one of my very favorite animes--second only to Evangelion.

I just got done watching this series and yes it hit me hard. I didn't cry but it made me really really sad. It's such a shame the anime is so short. As a matter of fact I've read somewhere that the anime only covers the story of the first two volumes of the manga and there are 6 volumes. I so need to find the rest of the story. I heard there is a rape of one character and 2 two more kill themselves (I don't know who exactly?)

it was really really sad, I almost cried at the end ... I wouldn't normally watch anime like this, but this one was worth seeing!!
