My best friend is going out with a loser who's way below her. I get upset even thinking about him interacting with her. What do I do?

before she started going out with him, was she aware of how much of a loser he is? It'd help if you knew why she picked up the dude in the first place.

In any case, telling her how much of a douche this guy is will probably help - unless you want to fight the source and tell him he's way beneath her - but he'd probably tell your friend and then there'd be nothing you could do.

I don't think she comprehends how big a loser he is, she's always selling herself too short too. So yeah, I don't know if she thinks they're on the same level or what.

She knows no one likes him anyway. This is seeming a lot like what happened 2 years ago, that wasn't good.

You could always give the situation a push.

I know someone who knows someone who knows a guy who can take "care" of your problem.

What I meant was, introduce her to someone better or something. It's like the saying goes, it's easier to bait a fly with honey. Sometimes you actually end up making the situation worse by trying to force them apart.

If you can't find someone on her level, find someone who's less of a loser than the current loser.

I went out with a guy like that once. After about a month, I dumped him for my best friend at the time. He still calls me a [censored] behind my back, and I think his family still wants to kill me for shattering his poor hobo heart.
