YOKOHAMA CITY

It is a major commercial hub of the Greater Tokyo Area. It is a city rich in history and economy. With many historical areas and interesting sites, it is a major tourist attraction. The city is also strong in economy, particularly in shipping and biotechnology. This bright and prosperous city has a dark side, as does every place on earth.

A society exists underneath society. There are many names for this world; the most prevalent and recognizable is "Organized Crime." In Japan, the Japanese who live in this world of organized crime are known as "Yakuza." Formed of the lowest castes of the Feudal System, these people who are tainted with death have been the target of discrimination for centuries. The word Yakuza is derived from "Having no value to society." Never the less, they have found their niche.

These are the stories of Yokohama's underworld society.

In this role play you are a member of the Takahashi Group, one of the most powerful Yakuza gangs in the city.

Profile Format

Name: (You don't have to have the last name Takahashi, but I would like at least a few)

Physical Description: (Any multicolored hair will be treated as dye or a wig. Any unrealistic stuff will be treated as fake, so keep it in the realm of plausibility)

Disposition: (Keep it to a few words at most. Ex. Talkative and Cheerful)

Weapon of Choice: (Be realistic. Guns are a good way to go, but melee weapons are allowed. No oversized swords)

Fighting/Martial Art style: (If you have one)

Backstory: (this is optional)

This Roleplay will have a story to follow, but your behavior is your own.

Disposition: Loud and Short tempered

Backstory: He forgot his real name when he was young. Ever since he has been wearing nothing but stripes, he go the nickname.


Name: Bones Kashi

Physical Description: Bones

Disposition: Silent and deadly

Weapon of Choice: Two USP45 Matches

Fighting/Martial Art style: Savate

Backstory: She never told anyone her real name. She doesn't want anyone knowing who she really is.

Physical Description: Short frizzy black hair, Dark Brown Eyes, Six feet tall, Yakuza Tatoo on her back

Disposition: Forceful, Relaxed, Mischievous

Backstory: She was adopted by the Yakuza at age 13 after running from home. She doesn't talk about her previous home much. She seems to have a cold distance toward men in general which implies something terrible. She is only really comfortable around one man her partner Kin Akiyama.


Name: Kin Akiyama

Physical Description: Short Black Hair, Dark Brown Eyes, Six feet tall, tatoo of the norse rune Sol on his left arm

Disposition: Quick-witted, and Jovial

Weapon of choice: Micro Uzi and Kodachi

Fighting Style: Wooden Monkey and Kodachi Kendo

Backstory: His family was loyal to the Takahashi crime family so joining seemed natural to him. He experienced the discrimination because his family are descended from Burakumin class, those tainted with death. He and Oki are partners on jobs given. Most jobs entail contract killing and security operations.

Disposition: serious at times but very outgoing. Usally is used for extortion

Backstory: Came from a well off family Oldest son and next to inherient his fathers job. His younger brother Kyoya made a risky move and his father gave the inheritence to him. Mad at his fathers descision he left the family and went to join the Takahashi. Been there for a few years.

Name: Dawn Ryooza

Physical Description: Petite, light blonde hair, soft brown eyes. (no graphic pic but pretty much opposite of Raikke.

Disposition: Usually quiet and usually only speaks to Raikke.

Weapon of Choice: A pistol, just in case

Other: Dawn is more of a companion to Raikke then an actual main member of the Yakuza. She's the person at his side.

(Sweet, now we can start)

"Quiet everyone." Takahashi Masaru, the leader of the Takahashi crime family, had called a meeting of his top people. A new group had been encroaching on their territory recently. It was rather disruptive and everyone was a bit concerned. They awaited their orders. "This new group of interlopers is only a minor annoyance as of yet. We will go about our usual business and only intervene if they get too bold. We need to be focused today. Remember, today is our major arms deal with that Kyoto family. Let's go over the orders one more time. Oki-san, Kin-san, you two will be head of frontline security as usual."

"Understood, Masaru-sama." Oki gave a respectful bow

"No problem, sir." Kin was met with a smack to the back of the head. "Ow, damn it." He took the hint and bowed. He rubbed the back of his head. "That wasn't neccessary Oki-chan." The others laughed lightly at her blush at being addressed with the "chan" suffix."

"D...don't call me that, baka." She crossed her arms

"If I may finish, Hitsuki-san shall be our representative and speak with our clients. Bones-san and Stripes-san shall be on front security as well. Finally, Raikke-san shall be in charge of the perimeter and back up security. Dawn-san is welcome to accompany you, but as usual you are in charge of her safety. The truck will meet you there. I trust that you all know the address. Are your orders clear?"

Raikke was standing in the back of the room in his usual spot. He looked calm, dark, passive yet everyone knew by now he wasn't passive, he was serious. He listened to what Takahashi Masaru had said about the interlopers and listened as he gave out orders issuing Oki and Kin the front line. As he listened he set up the image of where everyone would be. Bones Stripes, Kin and Oki on the front. Hitsuki with the clients and... He lifted his head hearing his name. He listened to what position he was given before looking at Dawn who stood calmly beside him looking totally out of place in the room but she never left his side. Raikke nodded understanding that he was in charge of her safety.

He had done well the past year. When he had randomly brought her in at his side it had at first caused a bit of a problem for some of the members but after a while they had gotten used to Dawn following Raikke, though no one knew why she did. Raikke bent down some, since he was taller then Dawn, so they were face to face. "Understand Dawn? You have to stay safe." The petite girl smiled a big smile and nodded. "Aye Raikke, I understand." Raikke patted her head then straightened himself, his hand still on the girls head. He turned to look at Takahashi Masaru and nodded. "Orders clear."

Stripes was standing next to the wall leaning into it a bit. His appearance was cool, yet the smirk on his face told that he was ready for anything. He stood wiping the smirk off his face when his name was called. He nodded and bowed when he heard of his position. As usual with Bones. He slide his hands into his pockets ready to leave.

Bones sat half asleep in her seat. She shot out of her seat when her name was called. She nodded and laughed lightly when Oki hit Kin, "Yes sir. . ." She stood there ready as she listened to the orders. She gave a light bow and walked up next to Stripes.

They nodded their 'Hellos' and stood peacefully, both with their hands in their pockets.

Name: Shinji Ikira

Physical Description: Tall, skinny, dark haired

Disposition: calm, outgoing

Weapon of Choice: P-90 sub machine gun

Fighting/Martial Art style: Mixed Martial arts

Backstory: A small time thief, he made a name for himeself when he and his friends pulled off a jewlrey store heist. Thats when he was hired by the Takahashi family.




Name: Bako Yagami

Physical Description: Kinda short, tubby, balding, wears glasses

Disposition: Serious, coldhearted, greedy

Weapon of Choice: Magnum

Fighting/Martial Art style: None, has many body guards

Backstory: A big time bookie for the Takahashi Family, he owns mulipule underground casinos. He has been known to be merciless towards people who owe him money.

"Like I said, go down in the 5'th." Bako say's as he tosses a huge wad of cash at the boxer. "You get the other half after you take the dive." Putting money on rigged matches had become Takahashi Masaru's new hobby. It was Bako's job to ensure everything went smoothly. With a point spread of 5 against, the Takahashi family would stand to gain a small fortune from tonights match. Needless to say, if anything goes wrong, there will be hell to pay.
