Rare games and Websites

Ok, I am in a quandery. I am currently collecting some rare games, and my aim is to have all the Hideo Kojima Metal Gear Solid games. These are easy to find, just expensive. What I would like to know is, does anybody know where I can find a website that allows me to find out how much games are worth? I tried scouring google, and I only found other peoples posts on other forums.
Also, feel free to post your rare games and how much they are worth/how much you bought them for ^_^ Thanks in advance

I have Legend of Mana for PS1, and I paid $70 dollars for it. I also have Threads of Fate for PS1, which I traded from a friend.
Also, worth depends on how many people want them, and how many people are selling. I'd look on Ebay or other auction sites for current "worth".

I do. But it can be wishy-washy, as I will bet you are all too aware, Grell. I picked up Metal gear Solid 3 Subsitence for £55, when some were selling it for £100 plus.

Yeah, I don't trust (people on auction) websites, so I had LoM ordered from a store I trust. I'm not paying money to never see what I ordered. I'm too paranoid for that.

Why not pickup MGS essentials? It has the original PS1 game disk, MGS2 substance, and MGS3 substintance (minus 2nd disk) for 29.99 dollars.
I DO have the original Xenogears PS1 in great condition, Grandia II (superior dreamcast version), and others =]

Amen to that. I have a friend order things off E-Bay for me, and I just pay him back. And your lucky to have a store like that. Where I am, the philosophy is more "If we have it traded in, we'll inform you." Which is good, but has high chances to leave you in limbo, y'know?

Because I'm a finecky SOB. I am after getting all of them, in their original cases and such, rather that one big boxset, y'know?

Sometimes, you have to know when to take what you can get, Rikoku. lol I appreciate original stuff, but if Legend of Mana or Skies of Arcadia was released as a greatest hits, I'd just as soon take that then the original. But I also collect the games for being able to play, not just to say "I HAVE THE ORIGINAL!!!"

To play them, I just download them and play them on my laptop. But to own, I want as vintage as I can buy. I'm just that kind of nerd. Problem with downloading them is, I have to use the library's slow ass internet. Still better than nothing, though.
