Yeah I have! It's brilliant! Alucard is SO cool! Although I was disapointed with the manga- i thought it would be better. They say the only reason it didn't catch on more is cos it was shown in the same manga magazine (I don't know name) as Trigun and people found it weird that there were two main characters with red costumes. Also because it's so short.

They could have done so much more with that series. Isn't Integra such a bloke! She's so weird!

As I understand it, Kouta Hirano got a little too into the work and ended up disgusting himself with a character in it.

I would have to say I like the Hellsing manga more. Alucard is really cool, but he's better in the manga. The manga is more detailed, and the art is better. I think they hacked up the anime, and the dubbing is screwed up so bad.

I thought the dubbing was most appropriate, considering the story takes place in England, after all.

Check out the avatar. That's pure lovin' for Hellsing. I love that show, though i've only seen the first 2 volumes of it on dvd. Alucard is the biggest anti-hero i've ever seen, and that one vampire dude...

oh yah, if you haven't gotten through that part, ponther one of his more memorable lines Die you f****ing bi*** of a Wh***... yah... he has quite the dirty mouth... even for a vampire... and I agree that often subs are better, howerver for this series, there isn't actually much difference between the subs and the dubs, just the language, (And the cursing in some of the subbed volumes is cencored, and the accent, whihc is appropriate, as has been said before...

Hellsing is one of the greatest animes ever! im not joking. that is if u c all 13 eps i think it is. cuz then u c the awesome finale and its serious...very serious.besides alucard is the coolest. and like kamikazeghost said he is the biggest anti-hero, but u gotta love it. he just likes a good challenge. tho he rarely found 1. regardless if u havent seen this, GO SEE IT! NOW! and stop knocking dub anime. not to sound over opinionated but i cant stand ppl that basically discriminate other anime lovers because they like dub. in my own opinion i rather watch the movie than read sentences.

It could make an excellent live-action horror film.
As for the characters, Alucard has definetly earned his praise. But somehow I see next to nothing about the conflicts that Seras Victoria has to face in becoming a vampire.

I have this little problem. You see I dunno who Alucard REALLY is. Is he just Alucard or somebody else? In the episode hellfire Ingognito asks "who are you?" and the other side of alucard turn up. Same kind of thing was in the Master of a monster where integra asks Alucard name, Alucard answers "Alucard, My former master used to call me that" (Not exactly maybe). But the thing is that is there somewhere a straight answer to Who Alucard is?
