If you're noticing a trend with my posts you may be wondering: "Tyche, is this one of your top 5 favorite anime of the decade?" And the answer to that it yes!
This anime is also getting a new season in 2020 and definitely needed it! While it could've ended where it did somewhat satisfactory, there is definitely a lot to explore with this series.
Again, I haven't read the source material but I'm curious how it will go.
For anyone who hasn't yet heard of this series the best way I can think to describe it is almost Hunger Games-esque if you only watch the people in the districts. Children get taken away for a mysterious purpose and the ones that remain scramble to find out what may be in store for them.
Some of the facial expressions are a little wonky but if you can get past that you'll be treated to a thought provoking and in my opinion a really interesting story.
