I loved both of those series! My first was Voltron. My first Japanese language anime was Gunbuster.

Gunbuster honestly looks sick! The first anime I watched in Japanese was gosh I think maybe Naruto but I don't remember. I watched a lot of anime on Adult Swim in English but I don't remember when I started watching subs.
