:sigh: from just today, i've seen at least three ppl. not knowing about these things!^^ sorry..... but it'sabout this guy named vash the stampede, and he's s criminal worth 60 billion double dollqrs, or sumthing like that. but he's all searching for peace, and won't kill!^^ it's sorta' like rurouni kenshin, except kenshin's not on the most wnated list!^^

Pretty decent summery too. I think it has to do with more people starting to catch it on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, but only having watched an episode or two.

Yea. It's on cartoon network, 1:00 on mondays, tuesdays, and wendesdays.

This is the plot to trigun...

Its the distant future and earth has become a wastland because of people. Man kind needs a new planet. Everyone is loaded onto ships and put in hyper sleep or somthing...

A crew of 10 or so people are left to watch over ALL of the ships wile they gerny through space to find a sutable planet. In that crew is Rem.

Wile the ships are in space they find 2 babys. Vash and his brother Knives. They were just siting inside part of the main ship (the powercore or something... they are called 'plants')

Vash & Knives are raised by Rem why does her best to teach them. Some of the crew starts to freek when they grow as big and as smart as 10 year olds in just 1 year.

It soon becomes clear that Knives is evil and Vash is a 'Ma Ma's boy'.

Knives crashes the ships onto a planet that they were trying to land on in a efort to kill them all but Rem activates something in the ship that saves 70-90% of them. The crash does, however, kill her.

Vash is extreamly angry at Knives for killing Rem but he cant hurt his own brother.

Knives makes 2 guns, one for each of them, that he says they can use to destroy humanity. Vash grabs his gun, shoots knives and runs.

Knives and Vash encounter once more. Knives shoots off Vashes arm to take back his gun but stiches on a fake arm with a hiden gun.

Knives figures out that he and Vash have weird powers and he uses them to make vashes arm, and gun, turn into a cannon that destroys an entire city.

Vash gets a HUGE bounty on his head because of this. The next town Vash goes to trys to kill him for the bounty but fail... and end up blowing up half of the town. The people blame Vash for the demage.

Because of this Vash gets a 60 Billion Double dollar bounty on his head making him the most wanted man on the planet.

Vash travels around looking for Knives to Avenge Rem and all of the people that he has hurn although because Rem told him that no body has the right to take anothers life he doesnt know if he should kill him.

And thats the story up to the 1st Epasode...

you left a lot out...and still managed to give away most of the plot....


Knives did not give vash his assault rifle arm.
(think back to FLYING SHIP)

Knives always knew of their potential

you forgot to mention that Knives formed the gung-ho guns in order to "cause vash as much pain as possible."

Knives endowed Legato Bluesummers with Vash's detached arm, allowing him to use telekinesis and force vash to use the angel arm.

In the year that vash and knives grew, they grew as large as 10 year olds, but became more knowledgeable with the plant technology that powered the ship than the crew's trained technician(steve)

Steve was often jealous of vash and knives.
he was frightened of what they were.
he would frequently beat on vash and knives.
this was one of the things that inspired knives' deep-seated hatred for humans.

Ummmm, you may not want to bother watching the series now. Dramian and Otaku-sama just explained the whole show to you....!!
