Absolute Anime

Ok I was at Best Buy and I saw Astro Boy the entire series on sale! Its so awesome I can't wait until I'm able to buy it! I love Astro Boy......sadly I haven't been able to see any of it for a long time....

Anyone else like Astro Boy?

Of course, that new Astro Boy remake is definitely a great show. And the fact that you can get the entire show on DVD for about $40 pretty much makes it a must-have. Just wish they would have included a Japanese language track. Now if they would just release a re-mastered box set of the original series...

i heard astro boy was popular in japan.

No Japanese track? Is the dub any good? (not that I'm gonna buy this anymore , I'm a sub fan)

I've only seen Astro Boy dubbed. The voices suit the characters, that's all I can say.

I really want to compare the subbed and dubbed.

I think it would still be worth buying.

Yeah, I'm a lover of Astro too...although all I've seen is dubbed stuff played on the kids morning show on BBC2.

Oh well, better then no Anime. I still loves it!

I've seen Astroboy Subbed, and horribly dubbed with bad unemotional voices (on TV in the Philippines). I don't think the dub I saw is the same as the one on the boxset though. Anyways, the sub was pretty good, Nothing really stood out, but there wasn't anything wrong with it either.

I've seen the show when it was on Cartoonnetwork so yea Astro Boy is awesome .

Definitely a top of the line anime! I bought the boxed set from Amazon a week ago. It only has Spanish and Portuguese tracks with no subtitles though. So unless you know either language, I'd stick with the English one, which have great voices despite all the U.S. voice actor bashing I've heard about countless animes.
