Absolute Anime

Ok this is kind of random but I needed to know what it was...anyway
I had kept the "notify me when I get a PM" thing ticked right and its sends me an email when I get a PM. Well I hadnt checked my email for a while so I went to check it today, and I saw this email that I got on the 5th of April saying "New PM" but when I came here I didnt have a new PM.

Sorry for posting this but I was just a bit confused and was wondering if someone could tell me what the problem was.

That same thing has happened to me this morning. I received 3 e-mails saying I had a new private message, but I didn't have any new private messages when I went to check them.

That's really weird. If you only have one account, then I have no idea what to make of it. The only things I can think of is that for some reason the forum sent out a false private mssage notice, or the private mssage notice was real and it somehow got deleted.

I, on the other hand, have two accounts, webmaster and primehalo. I really only use the primehalo account for testing purposes, but sometimes I get private mssage sent there, and when I get the e-mail notice I just log into my default account without checking to which account the private mssage was actually sent. And thus, when I log in, I have no private mssage waiting.

Perhaps it just took a while for the alert to be sent. So perhaps it was alerting you for a PM you had already received a few days earlier.

Is it possible that it had something to do with Webmasters hotmail account being deleted?

I have no idea, but it seems unlikely. Well that's all I can think of. Now that is confusing! [/color]

I dont think thats it because the last Pm I received was in February

The problem has resurfaced again. Today, I received more notices about PMs, than new PMs I actually received.

Just now, I received a notice about a new PM, and there was no new PM.

That happened to me too. When I first signed up i kept getting new emails sayig I had new pm's, but there were none. It got annoying, so I disabled the notify me of new pm feature. Havent gotten one email since.....

Now for something strange.

Those are the E-Mail addresses that I am receiving PM notices from. Did the webmaster change it?
