Okay I just started watching the show and i want to know why Inyuasha tends to hide his feelings for Kogome and why Kogome can make Inyuasha sit just by saying sit boy?

the feelings. we may never know. but the sit thing is that necklace around his neck, and it cant be just taken off.

Where did the necklace come from then and why can Kogome only control it?

im not sure y only kagome can control it, but, kaeade put it on Inuyasha...

i think maybe cause shes the riencarnation of kikyo

That's correct! Kaede was the one that put it on him after he was released from Kikyo's cursed pin to the tree for 50 years! Kaede said kagome the only one because she has the power of the jewel so it control the necklace Kaede put around.
