Absolute Anime

There's a scene in my memories that I recall from time to time. There was a train floating in the space and going through a planet all made of water. Remembering this turns my kind ok melancholic since I don't remember much more about that series, just that I was in love (in some way) with that mysterious girl. Today by chance I've been reading about a manga series called Galaxy Express 999 and it seems to be the one I'm looking for. What do you think? and if so, do you know what chapter was that?

Hmm...I don't think it was <i>Galaxy Express 999</i>, unless it's from the TV series (about which I know close to zip). But there's movie from the 80's called <i>Night on the Galactic Railroad</i>. It's believed that the original story from which this anime was based was the inspiration for 999.

It's available from Central Park Media. Note that it's under its original label rather than its US Manga Corps label because it's an artistic anime that's not as mainstream. Try looking at your favorite shopping site to see if there's a copy available for you to buy.

thanks WWTK for your interest. whatever it was, it was a tv series but... far away from US 80's tv series since actually ...I'm spanish!! (well, I think you would say spaniard) jeje. I'll try to get some chapters of GE999 via eMule and check a couple of shops around here. I'll let you know about any progress.
