The movie was okay. The original play sound track made me fall in love wiht Pantom of the Opera (who can't love Micheal Crawford's voice as the phantom)

Did u know that a sequal was published? It was buy some minor writer but it's great I have great respect for the writer know. The book is called Phantom of Manhaton (don't make fun of spelling I don't live there so I don't care :oops: ) Anyway it gives a good story for after the play. U should check it out.The writer gives a history of the original novel of The Phantom of the Opera too. Did u know that originally Phantom really kinda sucked when it was first published waaaaaay back when.(it was published around the same time as frankenstien and Dracula)

no way thats so cool but phantom ( the other one) the book is not to help explain the play the play was a way to take a great story and make it in to a play but i must say that the play is not nearly as good as the book i love the book the play is to distorted even tho i like it to its not the same

I love the book. The movie was good, but there were parts from the book that I would have liked to see in the movie but I guess they couldnt be put in =_=. The play was also good, specially the origional Andrew Lloyd Webber (sp?) verion n.n

true lol but I was mainly thinking about the relationship between the Phantom, Raoul, and Christine o.o;.. also the actors werent too good for the characters cause they metioned in the book that Christine is actually blonde o.o;.. although they did their parts well enough I guess o.o;

I didnt think about Madame Gere lol But ya, it would have been a lot better with the origional actors from the origional play, but its been like 20 years (?) since the last Broad Way play, so the actors might not fit the characters too well any more, either way.. for a Hollywood production it was ok. o.o;
