Shuichi's sister Maiko's age?

Would anyone happen to know Maiko Shindo's precsice age? I've scanned and wrached my brain and manga's trying to find it and it eludes me still.I'm not even sure Murakami-sensei evern says but if she has I would look like a complete idiot if I posted an incorrect age in my fanfiction.
Please help!

First i wanna say Gravitation is cool. Im not entirely sure but my sister (she's a gravitation freak) says Maiko is one year younger than Shuichi. Which would make her 17. Gravitation rocks!!!
