They've released the first series in a box set, which makes it cost less. Curse you ADV for do that after I've complete the series!
I'm not a hard core fan, but I liked it very much. Souske reminds me of how I can be sometimes.
And sorry Pseudo Blair, the only connection between FMP and RaXephon is they were distributed by ADV not made by them. FMP has more direct connections to Gundam than it does RaXephon. Such as the director Koichi Chigira was an animator for Gundam 0080 and Urusei Yatsura 6, he also did the story board for FMP. Mechanical design director Koji Ito also did that for Gundam Seed Destiny. And the production studio was Gonzo, RaXephon was by studio Bones.

I had a Duuz av once. But I've been drawn into the series Legend of Galactic Heroes and just had to make an av featuring Wolfgang Mietermeyer "The Gale Wolf".
But back on topic. I think Koji Ito did a more original design work on FMP as most of his designs for Gundam Seed Destiny are just reworks of the original Mobile Suit Gundam designs. A real attention to details on FMP, although the Russian AS the Savage doesn't look like it has any kind of waist.

The Duuz Delux Rex av is Baaack! Now be a good mammal and be happy about it.
Maybe I thought about the waist of the Savage as I've seen way more mecha anime that I can think of. FMP is one of the newer and more original ideas for mecha anime in quite a while.
