Absolute Anime

i began watching fma when it premeired on adult swim and i instantly loved it. i want to hear your thoughts on this remarkable anime

I like FMA its the best anime fighting show next to Yu Yu Hakusho

FullMetal was one of the things that inspired me to become an Alchemist, or one who studies alchemy, so technically it is possible.. and anyways some forms of alchemy are real soo ya n.n;

fullmetal10, i totally agree with you. i saw this show when it premeired and feel in love too. edward's got a drive that i love. he's dying to get his and al's bodies back to the way it was. it's so sweet. and he cares so much for others. like that little girl who called them her brothers and her crack- headed father turned her into a disformed...umm...sorry forgot what it was called, my bad. i forgot the name in my rant. oops! anyway, totally love the series.

FMA ROCKS!

When I first saw the first episode it was boring then two episodes later it was awesome!

I saw about 19 episodes! Because I been gone till like by the time FMA is on so thats how many I missed! The last episode I saw was Colonel Hughes death!


I like Colonel hughes! He always got Ed and Al straight and prepared!

Colonel Hughes was cool but a little obsessed over his daughter

that episode waz messed up. they basically killed him off the series. his poor daughter. hughes waz cool. and he waz stupid for walking into what he knew waz a trap. but cool. R.I.P. HUGHES.

As of today Ive seen the whole series and (even though Ive already posted here) I gotta say something else ^_^; FMA was probably one of the most incredible and most philisophical (sp? o_<)anime series that Ive ever seen. Id recomend it to anyone, FMAs the best n.n.

I actually had the full reverse from you... sorta. I fell in love with Fullmetal Alchemist because I had already studied a bit of Alchemy. FMA just rekindled my passion for it! ^_^

A chimera is a creature which is, essentially, a composite of various other creatures - commonly in a grotesque manner. The most famous one was, in Greek Mythology, said to be a mix between a lion, a goat, and a serpent. But, of course, it's not just that. The Sphinx is a man-lion, the Gryphon is an eagle-lion... gosh, a lot of chimera makers love the lion... but you get the point.

Then there's mermaids, sphinxes (did I mention them already?) and the Egyptian gods, each one with the head of an associated animal. Only for identification purposes, I'm sure. Just like with Hindu gods holding things to show who it is.
