I don't think they declared an official leader, but Goku is the most powerful among them.

If you don't count Sayains then it would be Piccolo, but since there are Sayains it goes from Goku, to Vegeta, to Gohan, to Trunks , to Goten.

there is no leader of the z warriors they are all just powerful fighters who protect the galaxy.some of them wouldn't even accept having a leader of their group.

Goku cause he is the strongest of course, but he cant always beat an enemy with out help so he cant always be the Leader of the group

Goku is the leader for many reasons. He was the one who encouraged Gohan. He brought everyone together for the spirit bomb against omega shenron. If he was in his adult form he would have beaten Omega Shenron.

nice theories,but there is still no leader in the series.and as for the Gohan thing,Piccolo encouraged Gohan to fight more than Goku cause Piccolo trained him.

i wonder if Goku could have beaten Omega if Goku was in his adult form...there is really no way for anyone to tell...
