why are soo many anime similar to others?!?!

DUEL MASTERS=YU-GI-OH

DIGIMON=POKEMON

BLEACH=YU YU HAKUSHO

SAMURAI CHAMPLOO=COWBOY BEBOP

i didn't just realize is, but i finally remebered to post it..so yeah..what do you think???

Samurai Champloo and Bebop are by a lot of the sam people, but by no means are the shows the same. I think Spike's voice actor as Mugen was a good fit, and if you watch the shows side-by-side, they are not similar enough for me to notice if I hadnt known they were by the same people.

good point Angel of Death, but you have to say in some ways there are pretty similar..

It's the same as American TV. Once something is a hit you start seeing clones. Look at all the so-called reality series that followed Survivor and all the criminal investigation shows that followed Law And Order and all the forensic shows that followed CSI.

In the anime world you have all the Gundam take-offs and take-offs of the Gundam take-offs. Take a look at Evanglion and RahXephon. I like them both but they are similar. Oh, yes. Then there is Parallel Dual.

The more anime you watch, the less surprised you will be at the similarities. You will notice similar design styles from show to show as well as the same voice actors being used again and again as well as blatant take offs on successful formula. Some are a pleasure and others end up being a waste of time.

well you have a point there Dark Lilly..but i guess i just have to watch more anime..all though i already watch a lot..lol..but in ways they are very different..not including the titles..lolz

Anyway, the bit with Duel Masters was intentional..becuase it's a partial parody (notice all the bad-tasting jokes in the series).

++Haven't seen any of these so I really can't make specific comparisons. I may watch Bleach some time but none of the others interest me in the least. That doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy them.

haha you're right..i haven't seen bleach either but i've read about it and it's kinda like YYH in some ways.

This has been a long and on going thing about anime and entertainment in general. One studio comes out with what is a big hit or could be a big hit. Suddenly every studio or company has to try and out do it or cash in on it somehow. That is the nature of the industry.

what i mean is if you had to pick one from each set what would it be? i would have yu-gi-oh, digimon, and samurai champloo. im undecided for yyh v.s bleach because i haven't seen bleach..so yeah.
