What I think about... FLCL (aka Fury Kury)

Well, this is my second anime review post.
This one is dedicated to Furi Kuri.
It is the crazyest anime i've ever seen...

This is not actually a spoiler, as it gives nothing away from the actual story, it is just what happens in the first 10 minutes of the first episode, but i inserted it into the spoiler marks, just in case you really don't want to know... 
On with the review.
All of the series have a light brown / grey atmosphere, wich gives the idea of a dull town, where nothing interesting happens.
Sometimes, a dab of colour (you'll obviously see it when it appears...) enhances the feeling of action, and man, that is some off the top action... indeed, the guys that thougt of this must really be «"loco" in the "cabeza"» (my favourite Speedy Gonzalez line... LOL)
The exageration is so much ... humm... exagerated (
) that it becomes hillarious and impossible to turn off the dvd player, just waiting for the next gag!
I can't remember much from the soundtrack, except when hardcore action happens, the sounds from [i can't remember the band's name, i'll search and post it here later] fit like a glove.
There are mixed styles of animation, from the purely drawn characters and scenarios, to some parts that look like actual manga books, with all the squares, talk ballons, kablams, zaps, pows, and all that, and some scenes with bullet-time (Matrix-Style) movements, wich only adds to the fun of watching it.
The characters go in all directions, from the funny one, to the melancholic one, to the "Don Juan" (or so he thinks), to the psychotic one. But everyone was a reason to be, well placed in the story...
... wich is as strange and weird as hell, and also so funny, well built (starts, develops and finishes with no loose ends or unexplained twists), and makes you wonder how they could fit everything in just 6 episodes. It passes by so fast, that it leaves you wondering why haven't they made more episodes...
A good escape from real life and real life animes.
1 to 10, I give it a 8.5. It doesn't make the 9 simply because you have to be prepared to what you'll be watching. It is not for everyone.
After you see it, you'll love it or hate it.
PS: Furi Kuri is japanese slang for groping a woman's breasts. (Obviously, i can't check this because i don't understand japanese, but I read it somewhere... maybe here in this forum... who knows!)

a guy gets run over by a lunatic girl on a juiced-up Vespa, gets hit on the head with a guitar by the same girl, a horn grows on his head, that later grows into a full robot with a TV for a head, a factory that is shaped as a giant iron (that appliance that you use to straighten the wrinkles out of your clothes, Yes!, and the strangeness is only begining...
